Furnished in a coastal New England style, Pines has recently been fully refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. The cottage comprises of one first floor double bedroom, one first floor single room which can accommodate another z-bed; a ground floor bathroom/wc and an open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen.
There’s a fully-equipped kitchen which may not get much use during your stay as The Bay Restaurant at The White Cliffs Hotel is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and for the highlight of your stay a dining experience not to be missed is a visit to The 2 AA rosette restaurant at Wallett's Court (our sister hotel) one mile away.
During your stay you also have use of The White Cliffs Hotel’s other facilities including the beautiful walled garden (a perfect sun-trap), the lounge and bar which is open all day and the Loft Micro Spa with its chill-out lounge and treatment room for grown-ups.
You’ll also benefit from becoming members of The Spa Club at Wallett's Court (1 mile away), one of the finest luxury leisure and spa experiences in South East Kent enabling you to take a swim in the indoor pool, relax in the jacuzzi, sauna or steam room or for the more active go for a workout in the fitness studio or play a few sets of tennis on the all weather floodlit tennis courts. Enjoy unlimited access from 7 in the morning until 9 at night. (Hours are restricted for children under 16years of age to 9am-7pm). You may even book a beauty treatment or relaxing massage during your stay.

An area renowned for its spectacular scenery and pebbled coves, good for swimming, and breath-taking walking or cycling along the coastal and cliff-top paths.
The Mermaid's Purses' tucked away location belies the fact that it is just a few steps to the pubs, restaurants and shops on the narrow winding high street.
Furnished in a traditional country cottage style, it has recently been fully refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. Outside, the cottage enjoys secluded gardens and 'sun-trap' terraces (ideal for barbecues) with well established shrubs and an old-fashioned herb garden for 'chef'!

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LET
Self-catering accommodation is fully furnished and well equipped, the property is cleaned and inspected between lettings and every effort is made to ensure all equipment is in working order.  Your assistance in this would be appreciated by reporting any non-functioning appliance or breakages as soon as possible.  All breakages, losses or damages will be charged for.  The entry time for the property is from 2pm on the arrival day. We ask that guests staying at The Mermaid’s Purse ‘check-in’ at The White Cliffs Hotel prior to arrival (open between 7am-11pm) and we will hand over the keys and guest passes for The Spa at Wallett’s Court. Should this not be possible alternative arrangements may be made. You are requested to vacate the property on or before 11am on the day of your departure, this is extremely important to us as we require this time to allow us to prepare the property for our new arrivals, on departure the keys should be put through the letterbox after securing the house.  We shall do all that we can to ensure the accommodation is clean and comfortable for your arrival and it will be appreciated if you will try to leave it as you find it. Our policy is not to let our properties to groups of people under the age of 25. The accommodation is designed and equipped for family type holidays. It will not accommodate more than the stated number of beds. The number of people occupying the properties should not exceed the maximum number of 4 .  Pets and smoking in the cottage are strictly forbidden. 
The proprietors shall not be liable to you or any other member of your party for any loss, damage or injury to you or your property however caused, unless caused by an act of negligence by the management or any agent thereof.
Proprietors reserve the right to enter the property during your stay for essential maintenance if required.
A non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total rental is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation and the balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the commencement of your holiday.  If your booking is within eight weeks of the holiday commencement full payment will be required at time of booking. Payment may be made using a credit/debit card by telephone, email or fax or a cheque by post.
If for any reason, you have to cancel your booking you will forfeit a proportion of your payment. 
Deposit Forfeited – from time of booking up to 56 days prior to arrival
40% Forfeited     -    29 – 55 days prior to arrival
60% Forfeited     -   15 – 28 days prior to arrival
80% Forfeited   -   8 - 14 days prior to arrival
Unfortunately we are unable to make any refund if you cancel within seven days of your arrival 
Should the property become unavailable through any external cause e.g. fire, The owner's liability will be limited to the amount of rent paid.
